Star Struck Theatre Group is a community-run children’s theatre group based in Little Downham, near Ely. Each year, around 30 local children take part in two major productions – a summer musical featuring junior versions of popular shows, and a winter pantomime written especially for the group by local author Peter Crussell.
Run entirely by volunteers, Star Struck provides a fun, confidence-building environment where children can develop theatre skills, make friends, and be part of something special.

Our next performance is the vibrant and feel-good musical Legally Blonde Jr! Packed with catchy songs, high-energy dance numbers, and an empowering story, this production follows Elle Woods as she proves that determination, kindness, and confidence can take you anywhere. A fun, uplifting show for the whole family.
Our winter pantomime, Cinderella, brought the classic fairy tale to life with songs, laughter, and plenty of audience participation. It was a joyful, family-friendly production that delighted audiences of all ages and showcased the fantastic talent of our young performers.

We are delighted to share that Star Struck Theatre Group has received a £945 community funding grant from East Cambridgeshire District Council.
This funding will support chaperone training, as well as professional vocal, drama, and choreography workshops for our young performers. These opportunities will play an important role in developing confidence, skills, and creativity across the group.
We are extremely grateful for this support and excited to begin delivering these new programmes, which will have a lasting positive impact on our students.
